Toronto, October 14, 2025<\/b> \u2013 Good Measure Productions is thrilled to announce that it has been named a <\/span>Finalist in the 5th Annual Anthem Awards<\/b> in the <\/span>Media Impact Campaign, Awareness Categories, Sustainability, Environment & Climate<\/b> for its groundbreaking work on the documentary <\/span>Plastic People: The Hidden Crisis of Microplastics<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Directed by Ben Addelman and Ziya Tong, <\/span>Plastic People<\/span><\/i> exposes the hidden dangers of microplastics, reframing them as a <\/span>global public health crisis<\/b> rather than just an environmental concern. The impact campaign partnered with <\/span>18 leading organizations<\/b>, including <\/span>Break Free From Plastics<\/a>, Plastic Pollution Coalition<\/a>, World Wildlife Fund<\/a>, Environmental Defence<\/a>, Oceana Canada<\/a>, and the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment<\/a><\/b>, achieving measurable real-world results across nearly 30 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anthem Awards Recognize Purpose-Driven Impact<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Anthem Awards<\/a>, presented by the <\/span>International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)<\/b>, honour campaigns and organizations that drive meaningful social and environmental change. This year\u2019s Anthem Award Finalists were selected from over 2,000 submissions from 42 countries by IADAS. <\/span>Past winners have tackled issues from climate action to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This year, the awards include leaders from global organizations such as IKEA, PepsiCo, and the American Heart Association.<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporters can also <\/span>vote for Good Measure Productions <\/b>in the Anthem Community Voice campaign<\/b> from <\/span>October 14\u201330<\/b> at <\/span>celebrate.anthemawards.com<\/span><\/a> for a second chance for the campaign to be recognized.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
