Recently, <\/span>Story Money Impact<\/span><\/i> hosted a webinar<\/span><\/a> bringing together three leading impact producers to share real-world case studies from Canadian documentary campaigns. Among them was <\/span>Good Measure Productions<\/span><\/i> founder Sholeh Alemi Fabbri, who spoke about her work on the impact campaign for <\/span>Plastic People: The Hidden Crisis of Microplastics<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session explored different strategies for connecting films with audiences in meaningful, action-driven ways. Sholeh\u2019s case study highlighted how <\/span>Plastic People<\/span><\/i> sparked national dialogue around environmental health and policy \u2014 and how targeted partnerships, screenings, and educational outreach helped extend the film\u2019s reach far beyond its original release.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also featured were Chrisann Hessing of <\/span>Culture Shift Media<\/span><\/i><\/a> and impact strategist Leena Minifie of <\/span>Stories First<\/span><\/a>, each offering unique perspectives on engaging communities through film.<\/span><\/p>\n
