Good Measure Set to Showcase Two Films at TIFF 2023<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

The Toronto International Film Festival is always a busy time for Canadian filmmakers, but this year\u2019s fortnight is set to be particularly exciting for Good Measure Productions! We\u2019re excited to announce that we\u2019re headed to TIFF 2023 with two different and important films.<\/span><\/p>\n

First up is the visually stunning short film <\/span>METEOR<\/span><\/i>, directed by Atefeh Khademolreza and produced by our founder Sholeh Alemi Fabbri alongside Samuel Kiehoon Lee. The film will have its world premiere as part of Short Cuts Programme 1 on Thursday, September 7\u2013the Opening Night of the festival. The beautifully animated documentary explores the mysterious death of Amin, a gay man living in oppressive Iran, and highlights the deadly consequences faced by individuals living under severe societal constraints while echoing the recent \u2018Women, Life, Freedom\u2019 revolution. In addition to <\/span>METEOR<\/span><\/i>\u2019s debut, Good Measure will be one of 40 production teams participating in the Ontario Creates International Financing Forum (IFF) as part of the TIFF 2023 Industry Conference. Sholeh will be there alongside producer Heather Haldane, presenting our feature film <\/span>ECLIPSE<\/span><\/i> to potential financiers and funders. The fantasy-realism film, co-written by Khademolreza and Lee, follows seven teenagers trapped in their grandmother\u2019s home as war breaks out in Iran.
