METEOR Wins Best Canadian Short at KCFF

Director Atefeh Khademolreza’s animated film METEOR continues to soar as it’s recognized with the Best Canadian Short award at this year’s Kingston Canadian Film Festival (KCFF) Pictured with co-producer Samuel Kiehoon Lee (L) and Programmer Jason Anderson, Atefeh was thrilled to accept this award and continue to shine a spotlight on the horrific realities facing women and members of the LGBTQ+ community under the oppressive Iranian regime. 

KCFF is the largest festival in the world dedicated to celebrating the best of Canadian film which included appearances by Atom Egoyan for his film SEVEN VEILS, Deepa Mehta with her film I AM SIRAT and Kids in the Hall’s BRUCE McCulloch.
