Why I Founded Good Measure Productions

It was never my intention to start a business in the middle of a global pandemic.  On paper, it seems like the worst time to take that sort of a risk but the more I read about impact producing and recognized how my career aligns with this growing field, I realized I had to. 

This past year has left many of us questioning and disrupting the status quo while demanding more from the companies we interact with and support. That includes the stories being told on screens and the role they play in the world around us. My focus now is on developing new stories, ideas, and awareness about issues in need with the intent of engaging, educating, and energizing audiences in various ways.

When I look at the impact producing landscape in Canada, I see an opportunity to put my unique combination of storytelling sensibilities, promotional insights, and mainstream entertainment experience to good use and that’s exciting to me. 

I started Good Measure Productions because working with creative people who want to do good things in the world is how I want to spend my time. I believe in the power of storytelling. I believe in its ability to get to the heart of the matter and bring people together. I’ve seen first-hand how having a common purpose can change the world for the better and I am committed to doing more of that.
